Cory Robinson: Artist Statement

Cory Robinson, a Berlin, CT native, is a playful and uplifting artist known for his vibrant color palette and endearing characters. Currently residing in sunny Tampa, FL, Cory's journey from Connecticut to Philadelphia and back to Tampa reflects his commitment to his craft.

Growing up and still immersed in skateboarding, Cory found his artistic niche in Philadelphia's city of brotherly love. Now, back in Tampa, he has left an artistic imprint across the Tampa Bay area and St. Pete through captivating murals.

Over two decades, Cory has showcased his work in New England, NYC, Philly, Michigan, LA, and Florida. His preferred canvas, found windows, adds a unique touch to his art, demonstrating his passion for repurposing and finding beauty in unexpected places.

Cory's art exudes fun and lightheartedness, aiming to bring smiles to viewers. Beyond personal projects, he illustrates for Creative Loafing and manages public art for City of Tampa CRA, showcasing his dedication to community engagement.
